Beneficent Case Manager

Position Summary

Join our compassionate Case Management team at Beneficent, where you will serve as a crucial liaison between Long-term Care (LTC) applicants and their path to eligible benefits for Medicaid or VA Aid & Attendance.

This role demands a solid grasp of LTC eligibility guidelines, a comprehensive understanding of the application process, and a commitment to deliver exceptional customer service through thorough communication and support.

IF you are new to this industry, we offer extensive training so you are prepared to answer LTC Eligibility questions with confidence.

Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach will play an essential role in assisting seniors and disabled adults to preserve their life savings and obtain long-term care benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact for assigned clients, review action plan, gather documents and manage case progress.

  • Closely collaborate with clients and/or their representatives to manage applications and address any inquiries during the application process.

  • Organize and submit LTC applications, tracking them through to approval while maintaining continuous communication with all involved parties.

  • Provide reassurance and aid to families in crisis through attentive listening and accurate, helpful information.

  • Assist virtual case managers with administrative tasks during their absence, enhancing overall team productivity and support.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to organize and plan with a tenacious attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Proficient customer service skills on the phone and video calls.

  • Excellent conflict management skills to support stressed families.

  • Solid numerical aptitude for managing finances.

  • Ability to learn new software and management tools.
